Clara Poletti is Commissioner of ARERA, the Italian independent Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and Environment and Chair of the Board of Regulator of ACER, the European Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators. She has more than twenty years work experience in the energy field. In 1997, she contributed to the start-up of the Italian energy regulatory authority. Since then she has been working in the energy sectors. She is Associate researcher of the Cambridge Energy Policy Research Group. She has been Director of IEFE, the Research Centre of Bocconi University on energy and environment and joint academic director of the Centre on Regulation in Europe (CERRE). She has authored numerous scientific articles.
