Gunnar G. Løvås has a Master’s degree in engineering and a doctorate in mathematical statistics. Mr Løvås has more than 20 years’ experience in the energy industry. He was a member of Statnett’s group management team between 2007 and 2014, serving as Executive Vice President for respectively Grid Development and Strategy and Public Affairs. He now holds the position of Executive Vice President Market and System Operation at Statnett.
