Mr Birkebæk is the manager of the Nordic RSC (Regional Security Coordination) in Copenhagen. Nordic RSC is a joint office for the Nordic TSO´s. The prime target for the Nordic RSC is to support the TSO´s to ensure security of supply of electricity and to maximise the availability of the Nordic electricity Grid for the electricity markets. He started his current position more than two years ago, before he worked at Energinet for 10 years and he held positions as Senior Manager, Renewables Integration and Systems Automation and VP of Operations. He holds a MSc degree from Technical University of Denmark.
