Joachim Vanzetta has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry with Amprion and former RWE companies in Germany. Currently he holds the position Director System Control within Amprion and ENTSO-E Chair of the Board. With his team he is responsible for system operation planning, real-time system operation, process data control and electricity market affairs. Amprion acts as Coordination Centre for the Northern part of the Central European Synchronous Interconnected Grid and serves ENTSO-E and the European Market by hosting different services and platforms.
