Peter Claes has been active in IFIEC and other European and national industry associations for almost 20 years, and is a former President of IFIEC Europe. As Deputy President he concentrates mainly on the implementation of the European Target Models for natural gas and electricity, and on representing IFIEC on key strategic and regulatory issues. Peter also chairs the Working Party Electricity of IFIEC Europe and is General Manager of FEBELIEC -­ Federation of Belgian Industrial Energy Consumers. Peter Claes holds Master of Business Economics from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
